Reset MFA user

Over time, a user may lose or replace an authenticator device, causing them to lose access to multi-factor authentication. The multi-factor authentication reset option allows WS_FTP Server Manager users to reset multi-factor authentication for Web Transfer Client users.

  1. Select Host > Users.
  2. Select the user from the list.
  3. To reset the user's multi-factor authentication, click the Reset button.

This resets the user's multi-factor authentication details, and they must now set up multi-factor authentication upon their next sign-in.
