Select Folder or File
This page is used to choose a folder or file from either the physical file system or the file system of a host.
The file system you are browsing is indicated in the upper right corner of the screen.
Selecting a folder
- When you are selecting a folder, the page displays one pane which contains all of the folders available for selection. You can expand a folder by clicking the plus icon beside its name or collapse a folder by clicking the minus icon beside its name.
- To select a folder, click its icon or name.Note: The Windows user account that the web server is running as must have permission to a folder for you to view its contents. If you cannot expand a folder, verify that the user your web server is running as has permission to access the folder in Windows.
Selecting a file
- When you are selecting a file, the page displays two panes. The left pane contains the folders on the server, while the right pane contains the files in the selected folder.
- You can expand a folder by clicking the plus icon beside its name or collapse a folder by clicking the minus icon beside its name.
- To select a folder, click its icon or name. The right pane changes to show a list of the files in the folder. Click a file's icon or name to select that file
