What is Ad Hoc Transfer?
You can use Ad Hoc Transfer to:
- Send large files to recipients
- View status of active file packages
Administrators can configure Ad Hoc Transfer to:
- Establish limits for Ad Hoc Transfer file downloads (to make the best use of server resources)
- Set Ad Hoc Transfer user limits and permissions
Navigation
At the top of the page, you will see:
- Logged in user
- Change Password. Lets you change the password for your account, if allowed by the server.
- Sign Out. Exits the current session and displays the login page.
- Help
- Send tab. Displays the page where you create a file "package," compose a message, add the files that you want to send, and send it.
- Sent Files tab. Displays the file packages that you have sent to recipients. All unexpired packages are shown, and you can click on a package to view more detail.
- Options tab. Displays the default Send options that are applied to all files that you send using Ad Hoc Transfer. These settings can be overridden for an individual package by the options on the Send Files page.
