Notifications

How to get here

This page displays all of the notifications configured on the server.

From this page, you can perform the following actions:

  • Search notifications. Enter a name or part of a name and click Search to filter the list. To see a list of all notifications again, click Clear.
  • View or modify a notification. Click a notification name to open that notification and view or modify its settings.
  • Create a notification. Click Create Email, Create Pager or Create SMS to configure a notification. Select the type of notification you want to create from the menu that appears.
  • Delete a notification. Select a notification by selecting the checkbox beside the notification's name. Once you have made your selection, click Delete to remove the notification or notifications from the server.
  • Duplicate a notification. Select a notification by selecting the checkbox beside the notification's name. Once you have made your selection, click Duplicate to create a new notification with the same values as the selected notification.
  • Send. Select a notification and click Send to manually fire the notification. A detailed log of the notification is sent to the log server to help with troubleshooting.
    Note: Since there is no context available when a notification is manually fired using the Send button, notification variables are not translated when they are sent.
