To access this dialog box:
Select HOSTS > Add Host > Azure Blob Storage
When you create the host, you can set the following properties. To set additional properties, edit the host.

Friendly Name |
A name for the host. The name you specify appears in the MOVEit Automation user interface. |

Description |
Optional. Description of the host. This field is informational only, and does not affect the operation of the host. |

Storage Account |
The name of your Azure Blob storage account. |
|
|
Key |
The key for your Azure Blob storage Account. |
|
|
Proxy Server |
Type |
Type of proxy server with which MOVEit Automation communicates. Available proxy types: None, HTTP, and HTTPS. Default is None Note:
Azure Blob Storage uses HTTP to proxy when HTTPS is specified, resulting in this error:
WinHttpReceiveResponse: 12030: The connection with the server was terminated abnormally.

Hostname/IP Address |
The full hostname or IP address of the proxy server to which you want to connect. |
|
|
Port |
The TCP Port of the proxy server. |
|
|
Username, Password |
Username/password for MOVEit Automation to use to authenticate to the proxy server. |
|
|
Container |
The Default Container is applied to the sources and destinations of tasks using this Azure Blob Storage host. Note: You
can override the host's default container name in task sources and destinations.
Note:
Empty directory creation is not a supported function of Azure Blob Storage, therefore empty folders cannot be uploaded.

Secure Connection with TLS |
If selected: Enables secure communication between MOVEit Automation and the remote host. |

Click to test your connection. For more information, see Tests Performed on Hosts. |
