If you encounter any problems during the installation, you can find details about the problem in the installation log file:
- oaserver81.log on 32-bit machines
- oaserver81_64.log on 64-bit machines
For OpenAccess SDK Server installations using the standard installation procedure as described in Installing OpenAccess SDK Server, OpenAccess SDK Server creates the log file in your temporary directory (for example, C:\temp).
The log file created during the installation can be read with a text editor or word processor. Progress DataDirect provides technical support to help you interpret the log file if you encounter problems. Although the log file can be very long, the most important information is at the beginning and end.
