Automate MFT provides a flexible approach to building and managing file transfer workflows. Tasks are designed to be modular, and easy to configure, supporting both simple and advanced scenarios. Automate MFT leverages a library of reusable components, such as endpoints, authentication methods, schedules, and process steps to streamline workflow creation.
Tasks are created using a browser-based interface that requires no programming knowledge or specialized technical skills.
A task workflow in Automate MFT consists of a sequence of steps that define how files are moved, processed, and managed between endpoints. Each workflow is built from reusable components, allowing you to:
- Define sources and destinations (endpoints) for file transfers.
- Apply filters and conditions to select files based on patterns, size, age, or other criteria.
- Process files using built-in processes.
- Configure post-run actions such as notifications or triggering additional tasks.
- Schedule execution using flexible scheduling options.
Workflows can be as simple as moving files from one location to another, or as complex as multi-step routing, conditional processing, and chaining tasks together.
