Automate MFT provides search and filtering tools to help users quickly locate components, and to limit the number of items shown in a list.

Filter field

The filter field allows users to search/filter based on name or description. This reduces large lists based on keywords or partial matches.

Column filter icon

The column filter icon () opens a context-specific drop-down menu. These filters can be applied individually or in combination to refine the displayed results.

When a filter is selected from the filter panel, a new filter field is displayed. This field allows users to define the criteria for the selected filter, such as choosing specific agents, tags, or schedules.

Multiple filters can be defined simultaneously, and each field is tailored to the type of data it represents. When two or more filers are selected, AND logic is applied. All options must be true for the component to be selected.

The task grid allows the following column filters: Agents, Schedules, Sources, Destinations, and Tags.

The endpoints, authentication methods, and keys + certs grids have a column filter for type.

The agent, schedule, and tags grids do not have special filter fields.

Dynamic content update

The main content area updates in real time based on the applied filters and search terms.

Pagination

When lists contain more items than can fit on a single page, pagination controls appear at the bottom of the grid. Use the arrow controls to navigate between pages, and select the number of rows to display using the Items per page list (options are 10, 20, 30, or 50).
