Use the External Tables dialog box to add external tables to a SmartObject.

An external table supplies records to a query that the query need to complete its search criteria. For example, a query on Order OF Customer requires the external table Customer.

Option Description
(Editor) Displays the list of selected tables in the connected database. (The form shown is database-name.table-name.)
Add Choose to add an external table to the SmartObject. You go to the Table Selector dialog box.
Delete Choose to remove the highlighted tables from the SmartObject.
Move Up Choose to move the highlighted table one line position higher in the list.
Move Down Choose to move the highlighted table one line position lower in the list.
