After you initially set up, enable, and start OpenEdge Replication, you can use the DSRUTIL utility to perform specific OpenEdge Replication server, OpenEdge Replication agent, source database, and target database requests.

Parameters
- db-name
- Specifies the name of the database on which to perform the action. It must be the first argument and a valid name.

-Caction - Specifies the action to be performed on the database. You can supply the qualifiers described in Table 1.

Server|Agent - Specifies that the action will be performed on the OpenEdge Replication server or the OpenEdge Replication agent.

ALL - Specifies that the action will be performed on either OpenEdge Replication agent (name) or all OpenEdge Replication agents (ALL). Each OpenEdge Replication server maintains a list of named OpenEdge Replication agents with which it is communicating. The agent name must be valid.

For encryption-enabled databases only, specifies to prompt for a passphrase to authenticate the keystore.
CAUTION: If your database is enabled for TDE and configured for manual start, you must specify-Passphraseevery time the database is opened.For more information on encryption and keystore authentication, see Manage the OpenEdge Database.

- After you enable HSM as a secondary authentication requirement for a TDE-enabled database, both passphrase and PIN are required to authenticate the keystore.

Instructs an OpenEdge Replication agent to transition a replication-enabled database. |
