After-imaging must be enabled on a target database during online failover when the target transitions to a newly enabled source database, even if it was not previously enabled on the target.

During online failover transition, the target database will enable AI and add AI extents before beginning AI and switching roles to the source database, if AI was not previously enabled nor AI extents created prior to failover transition.
