To install OpenEdge on Windows platforms, download the OpenEdge software image from the Progress Software Download Center and launch the interactive installation program. The software download is provided in a zip archive from which you need to extract its contents into an appropriate location on your machine.

Note that during installation, you can optionally capture a response file. You can use the response file to create a silent installation script, which automates the installation of OpenEdge products across a network.
