Advanced Options button in the Define AS1 Host, Define AS2 Host and Define AS3 Host dialog boxes.

The following fields apply to all ASx Hosts:

Firewall

  • Type - The type of firewall that MOVEit Automation needs to communicate with. Available firewall types: Tunnel, SOCKS4, and SOCKS5. Default value is None.
  • Hostname/IP - The hostname or IP address of the firewall.
  • Port - The TCP port of the firewall.
  • Username - The username for MOVEit Automation to use to authenticate to the firewall.
  • Password - The password for MOVEit Automation to use to authenticate to the firewall.

SSL Certs

  • Decrypting certificate is different from signing certificate - If checked, MOVEit Automation uses the certificate indicated by the Decrypting Certificate field to decrypt files received from the partner.

    To sign outgoing messages to the partner, the main certificate configured in the My Organization section of the host will continue to be used.

Retry

  • Default Retry Count - The default number of extra times that a transfer (get or put) retries before MOVEit Automation gives up. A value of 0 means MOVEit Automation will not retry the transfer after a failure. Default is 3. The value can be overridden by individual tasks.
  • Default Retry Timeout - The number of seconds between retries. Default is 30 seconds. The value can be overridden by individual tasks.
