The following are the prerequisites for ABL WebApp support in the Progress Developer Studio for OpenEdge:

  • OpenEdge Explorer (OEE) to work with the Server functionality. By default, OpenEdge Explorer is shipped with OpenEdge. If you have not configured OEE during OpenEdge installation, you can manually configure it post installation. For more information, see the Install OpenEdge.
  • Java Runtime Environment (JRE) v1.8. You must install Java before installing OpenEdge.
