You can either add an existing database connection to your project, or you can add a new database connection for your project. An existing database connection is one that can be shared by all the projects in your workspace.

To add to an existing database connection:

  1. From the Project Explorer view, select a project.
  2. Right-click to expand the context menu.
  3. From the context menu, select Properties.
  4. In the Project Properties page, expand Progress OpenEdge in the tree view on the left.
  5. Select Database Connections.
  6. Select the Show All radio button to list all connected databases.
  7. Click check boxes next to the databases that you want to add to the project.
  8. Click OK.
