McAfee Data Loss Prevention suite supports the ICAP protocol. To integrate a McAfee DLP solution into MOVEit Transfer, follow the guidelines in this section.

Before You Begin

These settings need to be applied at IWSVA:

  • Web Gateway needs to be configured in ICAP mode.
  • Your core DLP policies should be defined.

Defining Response Rules

  1. Log on to your McAfee Web Gateway as a valid administrator.
  2. From the Settings tab, expand Actions, then expand Block.

DLP Classification Block Panel

  1. Under the Template Name for the DLP Classification Block, click Edit.
  2. From the Template Editor window, expand DLP Classification Block, then expand en, and then click html.

    The HTML Editor displays in the right-hand pane.

  3. From the right pane, scroll to the following text: Your data has been blocked by the DLP Filter of McAfee Web Gateway.
  4. Under this text, paste the following line:

  5. At the bottom of the window, click the Save Template Changes button.
