In-App Notifications

In-app notifications alert you to product releases and critical update availability and acquaint you with new features while you use the MOVEit Transfer UI. In-app notifications are enabled by default. You can also check back for release, update, and the ecosystem of MOVEit product information by way of the MOVEit Resource Center.

Using the MOVEit Resource Center

To access the Resource Center, click the bell-shaped icon in the MOVEit Transfer Admin UI header. The Resource Center provides links and access to the MOVEit product community and ecosystem including:
  • Product release information.
  • Knowledge base (KB) information and how-to articles.
  • The MOVEit customer community site.
  • The MOVEit product ideas portal.
Important: In order to provide the appropriate users with in-app notifications when this feature is enabled, we collect anonymous metadata such as user type and your current version of MOVEit Transfer.

SysAdmin Controls for In-App Notifications

As sysadmin user, MOVEit Transfer provides the following controls for In-app Notifications:
  • Disable display of in-app notifications.

    Check this box to prevent in-app notifications at sysadmin-level and organization-level.

  • Allow individual organizations to override this setting.

    Check this box to enable organization administrators to control in-app notifications for their organization. (If this box is checked, and you add a new organization to your system, in app notifications will be enabled by default.)

Org Admin Controls for In-App Notifications (if enabled)

As org admin user, you can block in-app notifications when the Allow individual organizations to override this setting is applied by a sysadmin role user.
