Important: If you received a file or folder invitation but you can't access the file, folder, or package, contact the original MOVEit user who shared the access (typically, the notification was sent to your email address). The MOVEit Transfer user (either an organization's admin user or a regular user) can extend or re-initiate shared folder, file, or package access.

Accessing Help within the Web UI (Help View and In-App Help)

MOVEit Transfer provides sign-on help as well as in-product help for properly authenticated user roles.

Understanding the Web UI Help View

Each local MOVEit Transfer administrator provides their specific contact information in the MOVEit Transfer web UI.
Note: Contact information used for daily operations is populated by your MOVEit Transfer administrator. Not all sites will have complete information.

Note: The Information block contains information specific to your site.
Contact information for the current site and organization. This contact information is maintained by site administrator. (The screen capture that follows displays only example information.)

In-product (WebUI) Links to Support/Doc/Community Resources

The WebUI Technical Support page provides build information and helpful links to the online guide and the online community of MOVEit Transfer and Progress users.

Note: The sections that appear depend on how the Technical Support page is configured for your organization.

To Open the User/Admin Guide in a New Browser Window:

  1. Click MOVEit Transfer Help.

    The latest help guide displays.

  2. Click MOVEit Community to view, search, and contribute to the body of Progress/MOVEit community knowledge.

The technical support page provides a contact and email address.

Note: The email address might not be encrypted. If your inquiry is sensitive, use Ad Hoc transfer, a secure web form, or other secure channel.

Contact Information

MOVEit Transfer has Contact information configured by your SystemAdmin. Typically, this is configured when your MOVEit Transfer gets created.
