The SQL Server driver supports the following database systems and services:

  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Microsoft Windows Azure for SQL Database

To use JDBC distributed transactions through JTA, you must install stored procedures for Microsoft SQL Server. See JTA Support: Installing Stored Procedures for more information about JTA.
