The Oracle driver allows applications to store and return the following types of client information associated with a particular connection:

  • Action associated with the current module
  • Name of the current module
  • Name of the application
  • Additional information about the client, such as a client ID
  • User ID of the user connecting from the client
  • Host name of the client
  • Accounting information, such as an accounting ID
