About Semaphore Release Notes

This document lists the changes present in the Semaphore software and any known issues in each version.

Notes:

• If you are upgrading from an earlier version of the software, refer to the “How to upgrade your Semaphore installation” section in the Semaphore installation guide for your platform; otherwise, refer to the installation guide for information on installing the product.
• When upgrading in situ from earlier versions of Semaphore we have seen instances where the Publisher configuration for models are deleted. Please ensure that you take a back up of all Publisher configurations before the upgrade. It is, of course, good practice to backup the complete workspace before upgrading.

About Semaphore versions

Semaphore is generally released as a suite of its components. This entire suite is assigned a version number, but, within the suite, some components also have their own specific revision numbers.

Unless they are on the same Software Downloads page, components from different suite versions should not be used together as they may be incompatible with one another.

Note: Whenever issues are reported to Smartlogic always indicate the specific version of the software being used as this is required by the support team when investigating the issue.
