Before MOVEit Gateway version 4.0 (Release 2020), MOVEit Transfer used Windows Server Task Scheduler to initiate and maintain a dedicated secure connection with MOVEit Gateway. This section shows you how to remove the scheduled task and the secure connection or (Gateway Tunnel) object from the Windows Server host OS.

Step 1: Delete the Task from Task Scheduler

  1. On the MOVEit Transfer Server machine, click (search), and enter "Task Scheduler."
  2. Select Task Scheduler from the search results.
  3. Select Task Scheduler Library, then select Ipswitch Gateway Tunnel connect, then right-click and choose Delete.

Step 2: Delete the Connection Object from Network Connections

  1. On the MOVEit Transfer Server machine, click (search), and enter Network Connections.
  2. Select Ipswitch Gateway Tunnel, right-click, and select Delete from the drop down menu.
