Setting Merge Policy

This section describes the tools you can use to control merges.

In some cases, especially in environments with many forests and constantly changing content across many of the forests, another tool for setting merge policy is to set one or more forests to be delete-only (updates allowed set to false). For details, see Making a Forest Delete-Only.
