Deleting a Forest from a Host

Note: A forest cannot be deleted if it is still attached to a database. In addition, a Read-Only or Flash-Backup forest cannot be fully deleted. However, the configuration information can be.

To delete a forest, follow these steps:

  1. Click Forests in the left tree menu. A list of forests appears.

  2. Click your target forest.

  3. Click the Delete button .

    A confirmation message appears.

  4. Select either Configuration Only to delete only the configuration information, or Full Delete to delete the configuration information and the document data.

  5. Click OK.

Deleting a forest is a “hot” task; the changes take effect immediately.
