Complete the installation

After you are satisfied with all your selections, you can review a comprehensive list of your installation choices and commit them to be installed from the Complete Installation dialog box.

If you want to change your installation choices, press N.
To complete the installation procedure, perform the following steps:
- Press Y to confirm that you are satisfied with your choices.
The Copy Scripts dialog box is displayed, prompting you to confirm that you want to copy OpenEdge product scripts and program modules to the default location /usr/bin. Copying scripts into this default location allows you to provide your company site's users access to these scripts.

Note:- Copying scripts and program modules to
/usr/binmay overwrite existing operating system files with the same name, potentially causing system instability. - If you are maintaining two versions of OpenEdge on the same machine, press N to avoid overwriting files.

- A series of message boxes are displayed showing installation
progress.

You can press CTRL + T any time to terminate the installation.
- When the installation is complete, the following message is
displayed, giving you the option to view the Release Notes.

Note the following when installing OpenEdge in Linux environment:
- If you have installed a SQL product, you must set your environment
variables.
