OpenEdge provides the flexibility to add products to the existing OpenEdge installation. You can add the products to your existing installation either interactively or silently.
Important considerations:
- You must shut down the AdminServer before you add additional products to a current installation.
- When you add products to an existing installation, you can use the installation program in batch mode regardless of the type of installation (complete or custom) that you are performing.
To add additional OpenEdge products to an existing OpenEdge installation, perform the following steps:
