When you uninstall OpenEdge on Windows, UNIX, or Linux platforms, you delete all the files in the OpenEdge installation directory. On Windows platforms, the uninstall program also removes the configuration information from the registry so that no conflicts occur with subsequent OpenEdge installations.
On UNIX and Linux platforms, if you installed OpenEdge Management, then you must stop the OpenEdge Management Trend Database before uninstalling.
