The discuss code functionality of AI Coding Assistant with Developer Studio provides detailed explanations for the ABL code snippets. It also allows you to clarify errors, generate documentation for the code inside the file, and other similar operations. This functionality is accessible from the Project Explorer window, Outline view, and the Editor window, and helps you understand the code better. To use the discuss code feature:

  1. Right-click either the ABL Class or procedure in the Project Explorer view, or any node in the Outline view. Alternatively, place the cursor in the ABL Editor and select AssistAI > Discuss.
    The ChatGPT View prompts you to discuss the selected code.
  2. In ChatGPT text area, type your query and click Enter.
  3. To clear the text within the ChaptGPT View, click Clear.
  4. To halt the response generation process, click Stop.
