To share custom menu, toolbar, and template settings with another user, do the following:

  1. You must provide to that user:
    1. An archive such as a .ZIP file containing your customization plugin directory and all of its contents. The default customization plugin is: 
      OpenEdge-install-dir\OpenEdge\oeide\eclipse\plugins\com.openedge.pdt.extensibility.user_version_number
    2. Copies of all custom templates.
  2. The other user should then do the following:
    1. Extract the contents of the plugin archive to the same location on her or his own machine, and confirm that the value of the Controls available in all contexts in the Customization Editor matches the version number in the directory name.
    2. Save the custom templates in the desired location, and make sure that location is in the Set customization preferences.
