These requirements apply to the supporting environment and operating system where you install MOVEit Transfer.

Remarque : Before you attempt to install MOVEit Transfer server, ensure your Windows Server OS has the latest service packs and required updates installed.

Supported Operating Systems for MOVEit Transfer and Modules

  • Windows Server 2016 (English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Chinese Traditional, and Chinese Simplified)
  • Windows Server 2012 R2 (English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Chinese Traditional, and Chinese Simplified)
    Remarque : MOVEit Transfer no longer supports Windows Server 2012 (although R2 is supported), 2008R2 and 2008. MOVEit Transfer expects one of the OS versions listed above.

Supported Virtualization Environments

MOVEit Transfer can be installed and run on virtual servers running:

  • VMware ESX (64-bit guest servers)
  • Microsoft Hyper-V (64-bit guest servers)
