Edit Bandwidth Limit

To open the Edit Bandwidth Limit page, select Host > Rules & Notifications > Bandwidth Limits, and click the hyperlinked name of the limit you want to edit.

This page is used to view or edit a bandwidth limit on the current host.

  • Name. Enter a name for this rule. This name is for your reference only and can include up to 256 characters.
  • Limit. Specify the maximum amount of bandwidth you want to allow users and groups to which this limit is applied to consume.
  • Users/Groups. This list contains the users and groups to whom this rule applies. To add other users or groups to this rule, click Add.To remove users or groups from this rule, select the checkboxes next to the user or group, then click Remove.
    Note: Bandwidth limits throttle the amount of bandwidth each user can consume per connection. If a user makes multiple connections simultaneously, each connection is allowed the maximum bandwidth.
