About the Task Log report

The Configuration Management Task Log displays log messages generated by Configuration Management tasks.
To access the report:
- Go to the Index tab, then navigate to Configuration Management > Reports > Task Log. The Task Log appears.
Report body
The report displays the following information for each task log:
- Date. Displays the date the task ran.
- Task. Displays the name of the specific task.
- Device. Displays the network device for which the task ran.
- Severity. Displays the severity of the task.
- Result. Displays the outcome of the task.
- Type. Displays the task type.
- Message. Displays the log message that generated according to the task's result.
Filtering the report
Group report data
Choose to group the report by source by clicking a report column name and dragging it below the Date Range list.
Date Range
Use the Date Range list to select a date range and time frame. By default, report data is displayed for today.
Device Group
Use the Device Group list to select a specific network device for which to view report data. By default, report data is displayed for
Device Filter
Use the Device Filter list to select a device filter for which to view report data. By default, report data is displayed for all devices in the group.
Task
Use the Task list to select a specific task for which to view report data. This list is populated with scheduled tasks currently configured in the Scheduled Task Library. By default, report data is displayed for all tasks.
Result
Use the Result list to select a specific result for which to view report data. By default, report data is displayed for all results.
