Before Progress® MOVEit® WAF can be used it needs to be licensed. A Progress ID is required to license MOVEit WAF.

Follow the steps in the Register for a Progress ID section to register for a Progress ID (if this has not already been done) and then license MOVEit WAF.

If the password for the Progress ID has been forgotten, it can be reset. Refer to the Reset the Progress ID Password section for instructions on how to do this.

Note: Registration of a Progress ID only needs to be done once. Future licensing requirements can use this same Progress ID account.

Prerequisites

This document assumes that MOVEit WAF has already been installed up to the point where it needs to be licensed.

Licensing requires a connection to the Progress licensing database (internet access). Either directly from MOVEit WAF itself (to do online licensing) or from any browser with internet access (to do offline licensing, if you do not have internet access directly from MOVEit WAF).
