What are File Aging Notifications?
To help orgs align with storage limits, MOVEit Transfer notifies org admins either by way of email or in-app notifications (or both) when stored files exceed their maximum file age. Orgs can also run file aging storage reports for detailed results and a breakdown of file aging and storage resource usage.
A system admin user (SysAdmin) sets the storage limit for each org based on standards and policy or storage constraints. Org admins can view their current storage limits using the MOVEit Transfer WebUI.

Add and Run a File Aging Report
Add (REPORTS > Add Report) and run (REPORTS > Reports) to follow and analyze the ongoing trends and size of uploaded (stored) files. File aging reports can help admins understand how close the current volume of file storage is to the currently configured storage limits.

- As an admin user, open the REPORTS view in the WebUI.
- From the Add Report panel, choose Storage as Report
Category, and then click Continue.
The Add Report... configuration view displays.
- In order to create a storage report with file aging attributes, you must choose
either of the following options as a value for Report Type:
- File Aging by File
- File Aging by File, Including Subfolders
