To access these settings:
Select SYSTEM > Settings .
On the Logging line, click Edit .

System Log Level |
Specifies how much debug information is logged to disk. If no task filter is set, appears in the Log. Options: (listed here from low to high amounts of information) Internal errors, Task/File errors, Task/file warnings, Task completions, File Completions Some Debug, More Debug, All Debug |

Save System Log to Disk |
Selected (default) MOVEit Automation writes its log file to disk. The scrolling display on the Log tab of MOVEit Automation Admin is not affected by this setting. |

System Log Filename |
Default name: Default location is the folder where MOVEit Automation is installed. You can change the system log filename but not the location. |

Maximum System Log File size |
Default is 10 MB. When the log file reaches the maximum size, it is automatically rolled. Old log files are retained for one generation as |

Enable Task Logs |
Selected (default) MOVEit Automation generates the task logs while tasks are running. |
|
Task Log Directory |
The directory location where task logging entries are saved. If no location is specified, the default location is used. Note:
Log paths use only absolute paths and cannot contain any environment variables.The Task Log Directory name cannot contain unicode characters. The folder name must only contain ANSI characters.

Default Number of Task Logs Saved |
The number of task logs to be retained. The default is 5. Note: Reducing the number of task logs to retain may result in the deletion of one or more
task logs after a task's next run to match this setting.
