MOVEit Automation has the capability of running in failover mode, in which one server automatically stands in for another if the first one fails.

The following information describes the Progress Legacy Failover system. There are other third-party tools, such as Neverfail, that have similar functionality, but they require a separate installation, are end-user managed, and are not supported by Progress.
