A Date List contains a list of dates. You create Date Lists separately and reference them by schedules that use them. MOVEit Automation can run tasks (or keep from running tasks) on days specified in a Date List.
A Schedule is part of a task. A date list is referred to by a task but is not part of the task. A date list can be referenced to a schedule either:
- Positively: Run the tasks on the dates specified by the date list. or
- Negatively: Exclude (that is, not run) the task on dates specified by the date list. A negatively referenced date list overrules all other days in the schedule.
To create, edit, or remove date lists:
From the top menu bar, select Settings > Date Lists.
