After the [ODBCINST.INI] section of the Registry is configured, the user can run the ODBC Administrator to create and edit data sources in the [ODBC.INI] section.

It is also possible for your installation program to call the ODBC setup program (ODBCCP32.DLL) and have it display dialog boxes that allow users to set configuration parameters. This approach is described in the Microsoft Programmer’s ODBC documentation.
