By default, the file names for branded ODBC drivers have the form xxyyyynn where:

  • xx is the 2-character default prefix that you registered with Progress DataDirect.
  • yyyy identifies the database system.
  • nn is the driver number. This number typically increases with each release of the drivers. For example, if the current driver number is 30, then the driver number in the next release will be 31. However, you can control the driver number during branding with the installer by specifying a branding suffix.

See "Distributing Windows ODBC files" or "Distributing UNIX and Linux ODBC files" for the file names on specific platforms.
