Default Installation Directory

The Setup program lets you specify the directory into which the data providers will be installed. By default, the Setup program creates and installs the data providers in the directory:

C:\Program Files\Progress\DataDirect\Connect_for_ADO.NET_43

Before beginning, choose an installer directory for the installer. This can also be the installation directory for the data providers, but does not have to be. You can choose another installation directory during the installation procedure.

Note: If you have an earlier version of DataDirect Connect for .NET or DataDirect Connect for ADO.NET already installed on your machine, you must install DataDirect Connect for ADO.NET 4.3 into a different directory. The two versions can exist together on the machine, but cannot be in the same directory.
