Feature enhancements

Performance improvements for MOVEit Transfer Endpoint

The performance of Tasks that access MOVEit Transfer endpoints has been improved via more efficient use of MOVEit APIs.

Newly created Tasks are placed in current folder

When creating a new task from the Tasks page, the system now ensures that the task is placed in the currently selected folder rather than defaulting to All Tasks. The parent folder selection and UI feedback have been improved for clarity and consistency. Tasks continue to also show in the All Tasks folder as before.

Update Original can be used inside foreach loops

Users can now define an update original step within a foreach loop, enabling actions like renaming or deleting files as they are processed.

Progress-Hosted agents improvements

Progress-Hosted agents are launched more quickly for on-demand task runs and connectivity checks. In addition, it is now possible to dynamically browse folders on sources and destinations that use Progress-Hosted agents.

Retry enhancements for sources

A new feature allows sources to be configured to retry a set number of times if no files are found, rather than failing immediately. This is useful for processes where files are expected to appear at specific times. Retry count and timeout are configurable, and the task continues without error if the maximum retries are reached and will be logged with a task status of no files found.
