April 17, 2026

Feature enhancements

Google Cloud Storage endpoint support

Automate MFT now supports Google Cloud Storage as an endpoint type. You can transfer files to and from Google Cloud Storage using either HMAC authentication or OAuth 2.0 authentication.

For more information, see Google Cloud endpoint.

OneDrive endpoint support

Automate MFT now supports Microsoft OneDrive as an endpoint type. The OneDrive integration follows a similar authentication approach used for the existing SharePoint endpoint and is configured like other endpoints for use in upload and download steps.

For more information, see OneDrive endpoint.

Expanded macro support across task step input fields

Macros can now be used across a broader set of task step input fields, including commonly used areas such as Source, Destination, Rename, Compress, Email, and more.

For more information, see Macros for renaming and alerting.

Visual enhancements for users with view-only permissions

Navigation menu items and task editing controls are now disabled when a user does not have permission to edit or access the corresponding area, reducing confusion and improving the read-only experience by making restrictions clear up front.
