What's in Automate MFT 1.7?
December 8, 2025
Feature enhancements
SharePoint endpoint support
Automate MFT interacts directly with SharePoint. Use Automate MFT to configure a SharePoint endpoint, which can then be easily integrated with workflows.
Automate MFT supports both Certificate Access and App Access authentication methods for SharePoint. We strongly recommend that you use the newer certificate-based authentication method for better security and future compatibility.
For more information, see SharePoint endpoint and SharePoint authentication method.

Browse for folders and files during task configuration
Users can now browse for folders when configuring tasks. This enhancement makes task setup more intuitive and reduces errors. Before browsing to a folder, check that a self-hosted agent is installed, running, and assigned to the task.
Disable scheduled task runs
Users can now disable scheduled task runs without removing attached schedules. This flexibility allows you to temporarily pause automated executions while preserving the schedule configuration for future use.
Trust browser to skip multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Users can now choose to trust a browser and skip MFA prompts for future log ons after MFA has been set up.
A new Browser Access Management feature is available under . From here, you can view details of all browsers that have been trusted to skip MFA and remove browsers from the list.
For more information, see Trust browser to skip multi-factor authentication.
Enhanced Run Now feature
The Run Now functionality has been improved to provide a more
streamlined experience when manually running tasks. The Run
Now option is now represented by an icon (
) in the
task details panel for quick access, and the status and progress of manual runs are
displayed to provide immediate feedback.
Redesigned endpoint creation interface
The endpoint creation interface has been redesigned for improved clarity and usability. Properties are now grouped by category, making it easier and faster to configure different endpoint types.
Enhanced endpoint authentication setup
Users can now define authentication credentials during endpoint setup, eliminating the need to configure them in advance.
Updated UI for Source and Destination steps
The interface for configuring source and destination steps has been redesigned to improve clarity and usability. This update makes it easier to set up and visualize data flows within Automate MFT.
Add Key or Certificate dialog update
The Add Key or Certificate dialog was updated to improve credential management.
Description field added to Endpoints
Endpoints now include a dedicated description field, making it easier to document their purpose and scope, helping users to identify the role of each endpoint.
