Choose Utilities > Freeze/Unfreeze to freeze or unfreeze a database table. Freezing a database table prevents users from changing the table, field, or index definitions for the table. The Data Dictionary alphabetically lists all the tables defined for your database. When you select a table, the Freeze/Unfreeze Table dialog box shown in the following figure appears.
