Edit User List option
Choose to add or delete users from the user list. You can also change the user name.
When you choose this option, the Edit User List
dialog box shown in the following figure appears.
Note: After specific
security administrators are defined, only they can access the Edit User List dialog box to
edit user records in the
_User table.
The Edit User List dialog box contains the following fields:
- User ID —Lists the users defined for the working database
- Domain Name — Lists the domain of the user.
- User Name —Displays the user name of the selected user
- SQL Only — Yes if the user is a SQL-only user
- Password — Indicates whether the selected user has been assigned a password
The following table describes the options at the bottom of the Edit User List dialog box.

| Next | Highlights the next user in the user list. |
| Prev | Highlights the previous user in the user list. |
| First | Highlights the first user in the user list. |
| Last | Highlights the last user in the user list. |
| Add | Adds a new user. |
| Modify | Modifies the selected user's name. Supports the
following actions:

| Delete | Deletes the selected user ID. |
| CallAdmin | Accesses the Security
Administrators dialog box. For more information, see Security Administrators option. |
| Security | Accesses the Edit Data
Security option dialog box. For more information, see Edit Data Security. |
| Report | Generates a user report for the working
database. For more information, see User Report option. |
| Undo | Discards any changes you made and exits to the Data Dictionary window. |
| Exit | Exits, saves changes, and returns to the Data Dictionary window. |
