You can run a silent upgrade of the OpenEdge Command Center agent to upgrade from an earlier version to the latest version without user interaction. The silent upgrade uses a response file that is generated during an interactive upgrade.

To run a silent upgrade of the OpenEdge Command Center agent, complete the following steps:

  1. Open a command window and change to the directory that contains the response file generated during the interactive upgrade.
  2. Run the silent upgrade. For example: 
    .\PROGRESS_OECC_AGENT_2.x.x_WIN_64.bin -i silent -f response-file-name
    After you run the command, the agent is upgraded without intervention.
    Note: In an upgrade scenario, the response file does not contain configuration variables. The installer reuses the configuration from the existing OpenEdge Command Center agent installation.
