An interrupted upgrade can leave OpenEdge Command Center database binaries missing. In such cases, you can restore the binaries from the installer-created backup. The restore applies to a standalone server or the primary server in a high-availability deployment, on both Windows and Linux.

To restore the database binaries, complete the following steps:

On Windows
  1. Navigate to <OECC-install-dir>\backup\<timestamp> and locate the MongoDB.zip file.
  2. Extract the MongoDB.zip file to a directory of your choice.
  3. Navigate to <OECC-install-dir>\database\ and create the MongoDB if it does not exist.
  4. Copy the extracted files and folders to <OECC-install-dir>\database\MongoDB\.
  5. Relaunch the installer and proceed with the upgrade.
On Linux
  1. Navigate to <OECC-install-dir>/backup/<timestamp> and locate the MongoDB.tar.gz file.

  2. Extract the MongoDB.tar.gz file to a directory of your choice. For example:
    tar -xzf /usr/oecc/backup/backup_2.x.x_Server_TimeStamp/MongoDB.tar.gz -C /tmp
  3. Navigate to <OECC-install-dir>/database/ and create the MongoDB directory if it does not exist. For example:
    mkdir -p /usr/oecc/database/MongoDB/
  4. Copy the extracted files and folders to <OECC-install-dir>/database/MongoDB/ . For example:
    cp -r /tmp/MongoDB/. /usr/oecc/database/MongoDB/
  5. Relaunch the installer and proceed with the upgrade.
