How do I give a new user access to an existing OpenEdge Command Center agent to manage its OpenEdge resources?

Ensure that you meet the prerequisites, and then complete the following steps:

Prerequisites

  • You have the AGENT_ADMIN role for the agent.
  • The new user is already created in the OpenEdge Command Center server.
  • You have obtained the agent partition ID for the agent using the Retrieve specific agent details API on the OpenEdge Command Center server. For more information, see "Retrieve specific agent details" in OpenEdge Command Center REST API Reference.
Steps
  1. Log in to the Authorization server as a user with the required privileges. For more information, see Log in to Authorization server.
  2. Create the user in the Authorization server. For more information, Create a user.
  3. Assign the AGENT_RESOURCE_USER role to the user. For more information, see Assign roles to a user.
