The OpenEdge Command Center Server determines which authentication mode the MCP client must use. Before connecting, confirm whether your installation uses local authentication or OpenID Connect (OIDC) authentication.

The MCP client connects to the OpenEdge Command Center MCP Server at:

https://<mcp-server-host>:8002/mcp

Replace <mcp-server-host> with the host name or IP address of the computer where the MCP Server runs.
