• Keep Details Current. Refresh host and system properties upon device rescan.
  • Display Name. The computer name assigned to the device.
  • Host Name. Edit hostname (if different than when populated at discovery, for example).
  • IP Address. (Configure identifying strings for the NIC. Choose polling by way of DNS or IP address.)
  • SNMP OID. Object identifier used for device identification and status.
  • OS. Host Operating System.
  • Brand. Platform/Virtual Platform.
  • Role. Role classification of this device. Role classification determines default credentials used and monitoring schedule applied.
  • Action Policy. The name of the action policy currently assigned to the device.
  • Device Status. Indicates the current state of the device and the monitor that determined that status.
  • Notes. Additional information about the device generated by WhatsUp Gold and/or provided by the user.
